The Sussex Inlet Skate, BMX and Fitness Project – Sustainable Sporting

The ability to communicate at all levels together with the association with health and fitness makes sport and active recreational pursuits a powerful vehicle to deliver sustainability and positive environmental marketing messages on behalf of sponsors. Sustainable Sporting and the proposed Sussex Inlet Skate, BMX and Fitness facility provides a unique opportunity for business and the community to share in developing this exciting project through sponsorship. There are four sponsorship packages ranging from the Principal and Naming Rights Sponsorship, through Gold, Silver and Bronze. The level of sponsorship is determined by the contribution which maybe either in cash or contra; services or products.

Benefits and rights

• The Skate & BMX facility will be named the xxxxx Sussex Inlet Skate and BMX Centre or other such name as agreed.
• The company will be provided with 30% of all perimeter signage available in the Skate and BMX facility
• A facility flag pole will be provided for the company flag

Provision will be made for the company to:

• Have its logo and name inscribed on the Sponsor Honour Roll and included in all brochures, catalogues, program books, event programs, invitations, maps and annual reports.
• Include its logo on any uniform worn by the Skate BMX facility.
• Acknowledged in every media story; especially live radio and TV
• Provide editorial material for newsletters and media releases.
• Have one full page advertisements placed in six facility newsletters.
• Be acknowledged in regular paid media advertising
• To be represented as the Principal Sponsor of the facility on the Sustainable Sporting website including a section for company promotion, images and endorsement.
• To link its website to the Sustainable Sporting website.
• To provide facility acknowledgement and endorsement on the company website
• Promote the company products to the membership and other community groups.
• Subject to Privacy Laws access the membership and mail lists for marketing purposes.

For Events the Principal Sponsor will have :

• Naming rights to one event annually.
• 12 VIP ticket packages per event
• 30 Event Ticket passes
• 20 PA announcements per day

For the facility launch the Principal Sponsor will have:

• Prior access to the Press Conference or release announcing the Sponsorship
• A representative on stage and able to present the company vision and its role as the Principal Sponsor in the development of the facility. Sampling opportunities as appropriate including company supplied tents/booths and staff.
• The company can create special awards for events to obtain media acknowledgement.
• Access to other promotional opportunities for company staff conducted from time to time with club sponsors and supporters
• Opportunity for company staff to join sporting clinics conducted by local Skate and BMX or fitness ‘heroes’.

Gold sponsor package

Two Gold sponsor packages will be available for the Gold Sponsors
Sponsorship value: $20,000 – $49,999 The contract for ‘exclusive’ naming rights sponsor will last 10 years and be available for renewal.

Benefits and rights.

• Co-naming rights of the outdoor fitness centre: the Inclusive Use Exersite.
• The logo or name (one colour) of each of the sponsors will be included in 7 graphic panels in the Inclusive Use Exersite. This is a cluster of 15 standard and modified fitness activities located within an area of 13 x 13 sq meters designed for able bodied and wheelchair bound users.
• In addition to signage on the Exersite Gold sponsors will be entitled to 15 % each of the available perimeter signage space.
• Provision will be made for the companies to:
• Have their logo and names inscribed on the Sponsor Honour roll and included in all brochures, catalogues, program books, event programs, invitations and annual reports.
• Provide editorial material for newsletters and media releases.
• Have one half page advertisements placed in three facility newsletters.
• To be represented as the Gold Sponsors of the facility on the Sustainable Sporting website including a section for company promotion, images and endorsement.
• To link their websites to the Sustainable Sporting website.
• To provide facility acknowledgement and endorsement on the companies websites
• Promote the companies products to the membership and other community groups.

For Events the Gold Sponsors will have :

• Naming rights to one event annually.
• 6 VIP ticket packages per event
• 20 Event Ticket passes
• 10 PA announcements per day
• For the facility launch the Gold Sponsors will have:
• A representative on stage and be acknowledged for their roles as the Gold Sponsors in the development of the facility and as Co Naming sponsors of the Inclusive Use Exersite.
• Sampling opportunities as appropriate including company supplied tents/booths and staff.
• The companies can create special awards for events to obtain media acknowledgement.
• Opportunity for company staff to join sporting clinics conducted by local Skate and BMX or fitness ‘heroes’.

• Each Silver Sponsors will be entitled to 5% of the available perimeter signage space
• Provision will be made for the companies to:
• Have their logo and names inscribed on the Sponsor Honour Roll and included in all brochures, catalogues, program books, event programs, invitations and annual reports.
• Provide editorial material for newsletters and media releases.
• Have one half page advertisements placed in one facility newsletter.
• To be represented as the Silver Sponsors of the facility on the Sustainable Sporting website including a section for company promotion, images and endorsement.
• To link their websites to the Sustainable Sporting website.
• To provide facility acknowledgement and endorsement on the companies websites
• Promote the companies products to the membership and other community groups.

For Events the Silver Sponsors will have :

• 2 VIP ticket packages per event
• 8 Event Ticket passes
• 4 PA announcements per day

For the facility launch the Silver Sponsors will have:

• A representative on stage and be acknowledged for their role in the development of the facility.
• 15 Invitations to attend.
• Sampling opportunities as appropriate including company supplied tents/booths and staff.
• Opportunity for company staff to join sporting clinics conducted by local Skate and BMX or fitness ‘heroes’.

• Signage: each Bronze Sponsor will have its name/logo inscribed on the Sponsor Honour Roll.
• Have their logo/names included in catalogues, program books and annual reports
• To have the company name/logo included in a special sponsors page in an edition of the facility newsletter
• To be represented as Bronze Sponsors of the facility
  on the Sustainable Sporting website including a section for company promotion, images and endorsement.
• To link their websites to the Sustainable Sporting website.

For Events the Bronze Sponsors will have :

• 8 Event Ticket passes per day
• For the facility launch the Bronze Sponsors will be acknowledged for their role in the development of the facility.
• Have 10 invitations to attend.
• Sampling opportunities as appropriate including company supplied tents/booths and staff.
• Opportunity for company staff to join sporting clinics conducted by local Skate and BMX or fitness ‘heroes’.
